Extracurricular STEM Opportunities


National Center for Science Education (NCSE) is hosting a free ten-week science outreach training program, starting May 31! NCSE’s Kate Carter will host an information session about the program from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on May 10, in NCSE’s office in downtown Oakland, 1904 Franklin Street, Suite 600. seeME Event at Stanford on Saturday, April 27 from 1-6pm. seeME is an event for 7-11th grade students hosted by Stanford Mechanical Engineering. Students explore topics in science and engineering through hands-on activities and interactive classes. It’s free! Past topics have included autonomous cars, bird flight, robotics, combustion, and more!

Save the date! Stanford Splash Spring 2018 will be held May 4-5, 2019. Splash is a program that brings students in grades 7-12 from everywhere to Stanford’s campus for a two-day learning extravaganza.
